Rug & Furniture Company Returns Policy

RETURNING AN ITEM

We hope you'll love your new purchase, however if the item doesn't suit and you wish to return it don't worry, just return it to us within 14 working days and well give you a full refund - obviously there's some small print that applies to this, so please have a look below.

 

Under the Distance Selling Regulations you may return any item purchased from us for a full refund of the original purchase price, so long as you inform us within 7 working days of the day your order is delivered. We request that the goods are then returned within 14 working days. You are responsible for arranging the safe return and the return costs. Provided the item is returned unused and in the same condition as it was sent, we will issue you with a full refund by the original payment method once your return has been received and checked. If an item is returned to us used, altered, dirty or damaged no refund will be issued.

 

Return Instructions

Please contact us within 7 working days of receipt of your order and inform us that you wish to return your order, you do not have to state a reason but it helps us if you can give one, even if you have just changed your mind. We will confirm receipt of your returns request by email and are happy to recommend a suitable courier and give you any information the courier may need in order to facilitate the return of your item. We request that the goods are then returned, to be received by us within 14 working days. You can also return the item in person directly to our warehouse at:

When returning your item/items you must ensure that it/they are satisfactorily and safely wrapped in waterproof packaging or preferably in the original delivery packaging (do not use thin plastic such as bin liners) and are clearly labelled with our address on the front.  You must also include your information within the returned package so we can identify where it has come from (a copy of the original order is preferable). Failure to do any of the above may delay your refund and in some cases no refund will be issued if goods have been badly wrapped and as a result are soiled or damaged whilst in transit.

The return of your order is not our responsibility and should any goods go missing in transit whilst being returned to us then we will not be able to reimburse you and any claim should be made by you to your chosen courier. Please ensure that you use a return courier which allows you to obtain proof of delivery to ourselves and ensure you are insured for the value of the goods should they be lost or damaged.

 

COLOUR REPRESENTATION

We take every care to show a realistic representation of colour. However due to lighting conditions and variation in computer screen output it is sometimes difficult to achieve this and any reference to colour is given as a guidance only. We do not accept any responsibility for colour misrepresentations and often, due to multiple repeat items (especially with furniture where shading and grain patterns vary and handmade and hand dyed rugs where shading varies from piece to piece) we cannot guarantee that the item shown on screen will be the exact item you receive. 

You can still receive a refund if the item doesn’t suit, however it will not be deemed as faulty and you will be responsible to the full cost of returning it to us. If you would like more pictures of any of our items before purchasing then please do not hesitate to contact us.
